Fallout 3
Fallout 3 is a sequel to the famous post-apocalyptic RPG series, based on the engine of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. The plot of the third Fallout starts 36 years after the end of Fallout 2, in 2277, and in a completely different location – on the East Coast of the United States. The game starts from the infancy of the protagonist, who is born and lives in Sanctuary 101, but everything crumbles the moment the protagonist’s father escapes from the Sanctuary. The protagonist sets off to the radioactive Wasteland to find him, exploring the lands disfigured by radiation and war along the way.
Unlike the first two parts, Fallout 2 is a first-person shooter (or at will of the player – from the third person), the turn-based mode of fighting is replaced by VATS – Vault-Tech Targeting System, allowing, as before, to choose a limb to shoot. However, players can still fight without using the VATS system, because the game has the usual firefights in real time. The rest of the details remain, albeit modified, from the original S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system, a huge amount of various loot, partners and a huge open world.
